Hazard will explode at Real Madrid in no time - Thibaut Courtois

Following the move of Chelsea FC winger and playmaker Eden Hazard to Real Madrid in 2019, various banter and criticism is likely to befall the former Chelsea FC playmaker.



The winger hasn't made so much impact since joining the likes of Benzema and Sergio Ramos in Real Madrid, due to injuries and other like terms.

This might result to serious critics on the player from the club and fans after spending a transfer record fee of €88million to bring the Belgian international to Santiago Bernabeu from Stamford bridge.

However, his fellow country man Thibaut Courtois has backed him up saying the playmaker would eventually explode for Real Madrid after his luckless injury run.

The Belgium and Madrid team-mate Courtois believes it is only a matter of time before Hazard delivers at the Santiago Bernabeu.

When asked about Hazard on Wednesday by  Cadena SER, the goal keeper said "Hazard? I have no doubt, I am sure we will see the best Eden Hazard."

"He is the first with the desire to show it. I see him very well and hopefully soon he can prove it.

"Just before his injury, he played several games very well and there he had such bad luck and getting out of that was not easy. 

But now this month I saw him train very well. I am sure that in no time he will explode and will to give many joys to the team."

Courtois who also arrived at the Santiago Bernabeu from Chelsea's Stamford bridge in 2018 also struggled in his first season at Madrid but has now find his form, haven conceded less in his last couples of games.

Real Madrid won the previously concluded Laliga season title and are currently looking good on this season's standing having secured 10 points from four games.

They are currently at the top of the table and would strive to extend their unbeaten run when they host Cadiz on Saturday.
