NUC approve 24 more programmes in Kogi state university

The Nigeria Universities Commission, NUC has approved approved and fully accredited 24 more programmes in Kogi state university, Anyigba.



This was disclosed by the management of the university, the  Vice Chancellor to be precised on Friday 3rd September, 2021 during her maiden press briefing at the university Senate Building.

To her own credit, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Marietu Tenuche said that the programmes were accredited barely one year after she assumed office as the fifth Vice Chancellor of the university, established in 1999.

According to her, 19 undergraduate and five Post-Graduate programmes in addition to the existing 29 were accredited by the universities commissioning body (NUC).

Adding to that, the Vice chancellor said the university's management with herself inclusively have been working assiduously hard to carry on with the vision of the founding fathers which is to have a citadel of learning that is second to none.

Also, declaring that the assiduous efforts has paid off with the accreditation of the 24 new courses representing a 100 per cent score in all the programmes on offer in the Nigerian universities.

The list of courses however have not been disclosed
