Strike: Students beg ASUU to call off 8month old Strike

Some university students on Thursday appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities to consider their future and resume to work in their various institutions. Some of the students, who spoke with the  News Agency of Nigeria  in Enugu, expressed worries and lamented as they appealed for the suspension of the prolonged strike. The students said they were tired and frustrated due to the time wasted without any academic achievement. They said the strike would make them remain in the university more than it was necessary. ASUU has been on strike since March 2020 over demands for more funding for public universities and renegotiation of the 2009 FG/ASUU agreement. Others are outstanding earned academic allowances, the proliferation of universities by state governments, and the constitution of Visitation Panels to Federal Universities. Following Chelsea's emphatic 4 - 0 victory last night over Spanish side Sevilla in the UEFA champions league, Olivier Giroud who scored all Four goals breaks and create a new record for himself to become the oldest player in the history of the UEFA champions league to score an Hat trick at 34years 63days after Cristiano Ronaldo's Hat trick at 34years 35days. Admission: UNILAG Reopens Post-UTME Registration Portal for 14days

The management of the university of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced via it's official website that it has reopened it 20/2021 Post-UTME registration portal to allow interested candidates start or complete their applications. The online registration portal for the Screening Exercise will be re-opened for a period of fourteen (14) days, that is, between Tuesday, December 1, 2020, and Monday, December 14, 2020. Interested applicants are advised to use this opportunity to complete their applications, prospective candidates are equally advised to seize the opportunity to upload their awaiting results onto the portal.
