BUK extends Post-UTME registration deadline, 2021/2022

Notice is hereby given to all UTME Candidates who are still interested in seeking admission into Bayero University Kano that the management has extended the deadline for the Post-UTME Application.



According to the management, the deadline is now 16th October 2021.

Interested candidates are advised to make use of this opportunity to complete their registration.

British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua showed how much of a Yoruba boy he is when he met with President Muhammadu Buhari earlier on Saturday, January 18. The heavyweight world boxing champion was hosted by Buhari in London, UK, where the Nigerian president is presently visiting for government business. After shaking hands with the president, Joshua - who recently defeated Andy Ruiz to reclaim his belts - went down flat as a sign of respect. His action elicited laughter from all the government officials present at the meeting. The champ also made sure to present his belt to the president, who was more than elated to receive him. The times higher education, THE has released it's 2022 world universities ranking. In the ranking the university of Ibadan maintain it's former spot as the no.1 in Nigeria and between 401 to 500 in the world ranking. The university of Lagos, Covenant university amongst other top universities in Nigeria however seems to have stepped higher in the ranking. The rankings were conducted based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
