WAEC Extends 2021 GCE (2nd series) Registration Deadline

The West African Examination Council, WAEC has extended the registration deadline for the WASSCE for private candidates 2021 (GCE) second series by additional two weeks plus.



The registration was earlier scheduled to close on Thursday, September 30, 2021, but has now been extended to Friday, October 15, 2021.

The registration fee remains Eighteen Thousand Naira (N18,000) only, all other registration procedure as earlier published by the examination council also remains intact.

Those who wish to take the 2021 2nd series of the Private WASSCE (WAEC GCE) Exam and haven't registered for the Exam, are advised to kindly do so before the new registration deadline.

Lagos State Approves full Reopening of KG, Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools

The Lagos State Government has approved October 19th for the full resumption of all remaining classes including Kindergarten classes in both public and private schools in the state. This was revealed in the statement released by the state Commissioner for Education on the 12th October, 2020.  The state commisioner for education, Folasade Adefisayo made it clear that physical resumption for the 2020/2021 academic session would include pupils in pre-primary classes particularly those in daycare, kindergarten, and nursery schools. She also said that the decision was taken after careful deliberations and consultations with relevant stakeholders including safety professionals and nursery school providers.  She urged school owners, principals and proprietors of private schools to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 safety protocols as earlier outlined by the Nigeria defense for disease control (NCDC). Davido Should Do a DNA Test on His Son- Nigerians React to Chioma’s Cheating Allegations

There is an ongoing rift between Davido and Peruzzi’s former record label boss King Patrick-Golden Boy.  Owing to this rift, Davido and Patrick have been throwing shades at each other on Twitter.  The major cause of this fight is that Golden Boy claims he groomed Peruzzi years ago in his musical career but Peruzzi eventually ‘dumped’ him and joined Davido’s camp.  According to Patrick Golden Boy, Perruzi didn’t recognize him as his record label boss and this affected the royalties he was supposed to get from the songs he made with the Majesty crooner, Peruzzi.  Still in the heat of the argument, yesterday, Davido tweeted about Patrick Golden boy being depressed.
