NYSC: FG Enrols Corp Members Into Compulsory Health Scheme

The Federal Government has approved the enrolment of members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the National Health Insurance Scheme.

This was revealed today 9th November in a statement released by the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier-General Shuaibu Ibrahim


The Brigadier general started his statement by saluting and expressing gratitude towards the security agencies and other stakeholders for their support

Furthermore, he said the scheme has concluded arrangement with the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) for the enrolment of corps members into the NHIS in line with a presidential directive. 

He then concluded his statement saying that they have also expended huge resources on critical health needs of corps members, including footing of medical bills
