CNN Release Video, Proves Nigerian Army Killed Prostesters at Lekki Toll Gate — Watch Video

The Cable News Network simply known as CNN has released a detailed visual documentary which proves allegations against the Nigerian army for killing peaceful #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Toll Gate on the 20th of October 2020.

The event which occurred on October 20 and claimed the lives of young Nigerians has been denied by the Nigeria Army head authorities. 



The army denied shooting at protesters while Lagos State Governor, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu said only two protesters were killed, a statement which is believed to be false by reputable numbers of people.

However, CNN investigation has revealed hours of videos and heard from dozens of witnesses to establish the massacre indeed happened and that many lives were lost.

Lagos State Approves full Reopening of KG, Nursery, Primary and Secondary Schools

The Lagos State Government has approved October 19th for the full resumption of all remaining classes including Kindergarten classes in both public and private schools in the state. This was revealed in the statement released by the state Commissioner for Education on the 12th October, 2020.  The state commisioner for education, Folasade Adefisayo made it clear that physical resumption for the 2020/2021 academic session would include pupils in pre-primary classes particularly those in daycare, kindergarten, and nursery schools. She also said that the decision was taken after careful deliberations and consultations with relevant stakeholders including safety professionals and nursery school providers.  She urged school owners, principals and proprietors of private schools to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 safety protocols as earlier outlined by the Nigeria defense for disease control (NCDC). ICPC arrests Nigerian professor for alleged N400 million fraud

The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC has arrested the acting Director-General (DG) of the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA), Alex Akpa, for allegedly defrauding the federal government of N400 million. In a statement signed by the  anti-graft agency 's spokesperson, Azuka Ogugua on Wednesday, the agency said it is also investigating the official for abuse of office. According to the report, Mr Akpa, who is a professor of microbiology, was arrested by operatives of the commission to answer questions on how the said amount was misappropriated under his watch. The ICPC also said investigations revealed that the money, which the acting DG had claimed to be an intervention fund for the biotechnology agency, was diverted into private pockets. British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua showed how much of a Yoruba boy he is when he met with President Muhammadu Buhari earlier on Saturday, January 18. The heavyweight world boxing champion was hosted by Buhari in London, UK, where the Nigerian president is presently visiting for government business. After shaking hands with the president, Joshua - who recently defeated Andy Ruiz to reclaim his belts - went down flat as a sign of respect. His action elicited laughter from all the government officials present at the meeting. The champ also made sure to present his belt to the president, who was more than elated to receive him.
