Christian Pulisic: Chelsea team news Ahead of Tottenham Showdown

Following the close and deserving 2-1 win over Rennes in the UEFA Champions League, Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has revealed the club could welcome back Christian Pulisic when they take on Tottenham Hotspur over the weekend in the Premier League.

Christian Pulisic missed Chelsea's 2-1 win over Rennes in the Champions League having been on the sidelines with an hamstring injury weeks ago.

Speaking concerning Pulisic, Frank Lampard said "Christian (Pulisic) stays back and doesn’t travel but the good news is that he has had aggression in the last week."

"The reason he has stayed back is to get some physical work in so hopefully that will have him ready for selection come the weekend and onwards."

There have been some consistency in the Chelsea team in the pasts week after they brought in Goal keeper Mendy from France side Rennes.

The Blues will look forward to continue their unbeaten run when they welcome Spurs at Stamford Bridge this Sunday having won all their last six matches in all competitions, four of which were kept clean sheet.
