ASUU: FG plans to explore other options if strike persist


Following the persistency in disagreement between the Academic staff Union of universities (ASUU) and the federal government of Nigeria, The minister of labor and employment, Chris Nguge has revealed that the FG will have to explore other options within the labor law should the disagreement between between both party persist. 

The minister disclosed that the federal government has met six, out of ASUU's nine demands but both parties still haven't come to an agreement.

The Members of the academic staff union of university (ASUU) and representatives of the federal government are expected to meet again this week to resolve the lingering crisis.
